Synopsis

Harry Graham (Edmond O’Brien) and his wife Eve (Joan Fontaine) are trying to adopt a child when the head of an adoption agency senses a secret from Harry. After some investigation, the agent finds that he has another family in another city. The story includes flashbacks as Harry explains how he found himself married twice.
