Synopsis

The film, originally titled Midnight, was re-released after the rise of one of the actors in the film, Humphrey Bogart. After a head juror Edward Weldon (O.P. Heggie) votes in favor of sentencing a female murderer to the death penalty, his daughter confesses to him that she killed her boyfriend. Weldon is forced to decide if he is going to stand by his ethics or his family.
