Synopsis

Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) investigates the murders of four women and the death of a possible suspect. A trail of clues leads him to a society of hypnotists, and he discovers a web of blackmail. Holmes becomes convinced that the only person that could be responsible for such evil doings is his archenemy, Professor Moriarty (Henry Daniell).
